Tryout Pre-Requisites
- Players must be registered, and all registration payments must be up to date
- Any previous season balances must be fully paid
Tryout Rules & Guidelines
- Players must wear matching Hermantown/basic-colored socks for tryouts. Socks will not be provided for tryouts and no AAA or Select team socks will be allowed.
- Please do not arrive to the arena more than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled ice time.
- No stickers on helmets unless they are HAHA stickers
- Jerseys with tryout numbers will be assigned to you when checking in for the first tryout session and must be returned at the end of tryouts.
- Players must be on the ice for all assigned sessions unless previously excused by the HAHA Board. Any unexcused absence will impact your overall evaluation.
- Any players that are intentionally going after other kids on the ice, with an intent to injure, or players called for checking from behind, will be given a 0 for that day's tryout.
- Parents who are in the arena during tryouts must be respectful or you will be asked to leave.
REMINDER TO PARENTS & GUARDIANS
You have agreed to the HAHA Code of Conduct upon registration of your player. The 24-hour rule of contacting a Board Member or Coach includes text, email and phone calls. The HAHA screening process adopted by MN Hockey includes a digital media policy that falls under SafeSport.
